# Environments

> Integration Environments for Market Makers

  All code examples and API references in this documentation use the **Sandbox** environment URLs by default. When trading in the **Production** environment, substitute these URLs with the corresponding **Production** endpoints.

Rails provides two distinct environments for market makers to integrate with our platform:

* **Sandbox**: A dedicated test environment for validating your integration. The Sandbox is isolated from the live market and does not require real funds.
* **Production**: The live trading environment, connected to real markets and requiring actual funds. Production endpoint details are coming soon.
